“This season, clubs will play each other twice with and additional six matches per club that will see some clubs play each other three times over 29 rounds. A methodology has also been agreed as to determine the additional six matches.

Sure.

Let's take the most criticised elements of the AFL and NRL and import it where it wasn't needed.

This league is a joke.

Thankfully we'd likely lose no one bar Spiranovic and Ikonomidis. Is Ola Toivenon at Victory next year? Could be a big loss for some time if he's picked for Sweden.

He's retired from internationals
We still might have a few with Deng and Antonis possibly Troisi still in Arnold's sights.

Kosta for NZL as well if he sticks around.

Isaias off to Qatar, huge huge blow for our club.

Doesn't get the recognition he deserves in the eastern states.

Phoenix could be in trouble with that actually, depending on how many internationals New Zealand play

Does anyone know the details in regards to how many games have to be played for the season for:

A) The Foxtel contract
B) Asian Champions League (FIFA regs etc)

Well looks like Wellington may have found a rival here, and not a rivalry that exists because of the distance from Western Australia to New Zealand

Mark Rudan continues to build his Western United squad, with former Wellington Phoenix midfielder Max Burgess joining the new A-League club on a two-year deal.
This one hurts more than any of the others. Burgess was in fine form for us...

Is there some sort of legal process/investigation the Nix can take? Because it's clear Rudan was talking to players and recruiting for WU while he was coaching us... Going against his contract with us, surely.

My opinion of Rudan just keeps getting lower and lower. They guys a rat.

Not many ins as expected this time of year, but a good indication of what clubs need.

Strange to me that Baena continues to be reported as a release - it was reported as a one-year loan deal when he came over.
