Big win for the Roar, back off the bottom of the ladder with a 2-1 win over a very poor Western United.

Wheels falling off for WU after back to back defeats, could drop as low as 5th depending on results.their last 2 are at home against Sydney and Auckland - so a tough run but still in their hands.

Roar were great value tonight, had enough of the play to probably win by more.

For those that chose to watch the AFL and see Essendon play against their kryptonite (a terrible bottom 4 side), Adelaide lead 2-0 after 12 mins and then Wellington squared the game up after 35 mins...

Still time for late drama

It’ll be in vain, we’ll find a way to lose on Tuesday and then struggle to score against city.
Always the optimistist! To be fair you've been ahead of the curve with Adelaide's fade even when they were riding high in 2nd place.

3 points against the Roar would mean Sydney need at least 5 points from their remaining 3 games (Jets, WU, City).

We could be undefeated and they'd still find a way to be negative some how.

Must be a hard life to lead.

What a finish to the season we're set for. All to play for on Super Saturday.

Auckland have been creeping towards the plate, but 1 win and 5 draws in their last 6 games (8 points from a possible 18) has left the door open for City and WU. Victory and WSW are chasing the top 2 spots, with good recent form.
