He was one of the main City Whipping Boys for years. Like him personally as a bloke, but yeah, he is an ordinary player.
Similar thoughts.

Played his best football with Adelaide but was never totally convinced.

Gee Whiz, Perth were all over The Jets before the Hoffman goal, now the tables have turned. It's become a pretty good game to watch since Newcastle have gotten out of their shells and decided to take the game on.

Fornaroli has been terrible, really needs a rocket from Poppa at half time.

Regardless of how sh!t Scott McDonald is from close range, that was a clear goal. Ref bottled that VAR referral.

Wellington have to play in Melbourne two weeks in a row, although it has to be said, Welly is a closer plane trip to
We request that.
Same with Sydney and CCM away games back-to-back later on in the year.
Merrick has to be on the hot seat soon surely ? Newcastle have been extremely ordinary for a significant amount of time now.
Ernie's natural trajectory after a good couple of seasons :)

How tf did this not get ruled a goal?

The line isn’t right on the edge so it’s not conclusively a goal going by that. But yeah we are trying to use the offside technology to determine whether a goal has been scored. Farcical.

Send Robbie Slater down to the line again for the laughs.

Is it even a VAR controversy if Slater isn't down on the goal line making an idiot of himself?

I guess, in defence of Fox Sports, it wasn't his beloved Smurfs that he wanted to say were stitched up.

Nothing, but it hit his hand in a scoring opportunity so ref had to give it upon a second look.

Didn't hit his hand though. Got him on the arm that was next to his body. If you want to be pedantic it got him high on the forearm that was next to his body. There was absolutely no where else his arm could have been that would have been legal. Rubbish decision.
