Footy was pretty different when I was 16, Eagles didn't exist.

tbh nowadays I am more passionate about my local amateur side than North, as sad as it sounds. Amateur clubs are all about passion and commitment for nothing other than the love of the game. AFL is more about athletes and runners who have shocking skills and just a general dis-interest and lack of passion who only play the game because it is just a well paying job.

I am hoping Scott's side will re-ignite the passion, but going through the last few years and just see the side give up, not try or take the foot off the gas all the time was hard to maintain the love.

We might also be looking at one of Jaryd Cachia or Liam Tobi, both are fast mids. Might be able to get them with a third round pick.

The highlighted part honestly made me sad for you! I Love love love footy and love my club almost* more than my own family *and i only say 'almost' because saying as much as, if not more than my family would make me look quite pathetic!
