I could see
13 wins will probably make it however there is no guarantee we will get 13 I think 11 or 12 could be more likely

You can pencil in

Richmond at home
St Kilda away

the rest we could drop

but we could win

Brisbane home
Western Bulldogs home
Gold Coast away
Fremantle away
Adelaide home

so that is anywhere between 10 and 15 wins but if we lost all 5 could wins then I wouldn't be surprised at all.

Our form is not convincing yet again after Hinkley's missing links we are still not very good. So what is it next year small defenders missing link.
How could you not argue Melb is gettable now

A Malcolm Blight intervention? ... lol... he is one of the biggest Hinkley apologists out there.

Surely it’s not that complicated.

We need to appoint a coach in the mould of Malcom Blight, not the actual man himself. Blight didn’t care about reputations, he wasn’t an apologist, he took risks, he didn’t care if he hurt his players feelings if it made them better footballers, he was adaptable & was known to throw around the magnets if things weren’t working.

The next coach needs to walk through the doors and say,

“Thanks Trav, thanks Charlie, but your time is up”.

“Ryan, Todd, Darcy, we have certain standards that are non-negotiable, if you can’t meet them your places we will be taken by others who will”.

That’s the type of coach I want leading our footy club, a working class, no nonsense, straight shooter. It worked for us so well in the past, then we became ‘progressive’, & wanted to be the nice club that everybody likes.

I agree entirely but I am not sure it will happen in this sensitive new age. Upset a player's feelings these days and you are likely to find yourself on the end of a lawsuit.

Well whatever Collingwood did after finishing 17th in 2021, followed by their meteoric rise in 2022, it proves that change can happen quickly. Is Josh Carr a Craig McRae??? I want Ken gone NOW, so I can find out!!!

Wait, what did DBJ do wrong?

Wait, what did DBJ do wrong?
For me I'd be saying that message (we have certain standards that are non-negotiable, if you can’t meet them your places we will be taken by others who will) to every player on the list.

Let them all know the gold pass era is over and we start fresh, no matter who they are dating or how much $ they have in the syndicate. Let them all fight for their spots like a professional team would. No point splitting hairs about who to single out for underperforming in the "stability" era.
