Kingy,Dusty,Morro and dont forget the mad mullet.

Arnott and even Helbig r hopefuls in this area.Browne could too shame he carnt play though.

If we could pick up Merrett instead of soft **** Chaplin that would round off a good list of intimidators

Hardwick knows what he wants, because he knows how to build a premiership side. We was in Essendons 2000 win, Port's 2004 win and Hawthorns 2008 win. He knows the players it takes and the players that he wants. He will get us there. Give it time and we will be a Powerhouse team once again.

Hahaha, nah.

Some crazy Tigers named their son Dustin Tiger.

Though you're right about the breeding. Cotch, Dusty, Lids, Jack, etc need to start popping em out soon!

Weighing little more than 2kg, Dustin Tiger Craigie is the size of a Sherrin and a few years shy of donning his own black and yellow jersey.

dustin martin at the moment? probably not.

when dusty turns 24-26 and is reaching his prime and maturity, he would make the field his own, if anyone gets him angry, he'll let them know about it and put them right back in their place ;)

Cheers Rustof, Benny G wants a period of sustained success at the club - what better way than getting the future production line up and running ;)

Is this a serious thread?

The current team has more mongrel in it than any I can think of.

Snipers are gone from this game but courage endures and we've got plenty of courageous players.

I reckon if opposition players look up and see Morris/Rance/Maric/Cotchin/Martin running at the contest from the opposite direction, many will have 2nd thoughts about how hard they go. Others who you could be critical of many things but not their commitment to the contest include Jackson/McGuane/Edwards.

Found this pearler whilst innocently searching Trent Cotchin pics on Google.

"U wot m8?"

Trent had probably just finished informing Pods that 2012 was the last year he had the chance of playing in a winning team against us before he was put out to pasture.

Vickery will end up being a giant mongrel ruckman.
Vicks is timid ...

The sort of presence that this thread is calling for is no longer relevent in the modern game .

Anything that even resembles hardness in any other form than "at the pill" ..(and even then you still have to careful) has been ruled extinct by the governing body .

guys like Morris are the new hardmen of footy ... Guys like Barry Hall and the Scott brothers would actually look a little silly in todays footy because that hard bravado is just that these days .. bravado , nothing that can actually be acted on .

Look at how silly Campbell Brown looks these day ... LMAO

we have our fair share of players that can, will and want to hurt you - King, Jackson, Martin, Maric, even Rance - but i do get what you mean. We need another one or two that are the complete package at it. Kingy and Jackson can hurt you, but they don't scare you as they has obvious flaws in their game plans and rely too heavily on being a prick. I think its something that needs to be developed a bit more, but also something that winning and arrogance breeds on its own.

I've pondering of late about how we are going and things are starting to look in a positive light. Then I realized I think we may have forgotten something when we are building our team.

When you look at our list of players, is there any player that strikes out as intimidating? Jake King might fit the bill but he's quite short of stature. I also looked at previous premiership teams and there's always a handful of players that make you go "shit I don't wanna go near him" and that sort of thing. At the moment I don't really see anything that sticks out as making other teams being afraid of us. What's your opinions on this?

umm, my opinion is its no longer the 1970s where Neil Balme ruled the roost. Fast forward to 2012 and yes there has been a vacuum in leadership at clutch times...take GC for example when our BEST player was on the bench...we need to put a fair amount of work into our leadership group taking whats preached in the GR room out onto the ground coz its cost us dearly:confused:

Leadership. We need players who can lead from the front and step up when the team isn't performing well.
It will only come with experience.
