Can't decide. I'm a big fan of both players.

Both are very couragous players for their size. I guess it would depend on what you need more. As a midfielder I don't think Monfries would have the same impact as Simpson. Simpson is easily capable of averaging 24 possies this year. He runs hard, he kicks long, and he kicks accurate. Monfires I'd imagine would play more of an inside role.

Monfries is a dangerous forward however. It'll be interesting to revisit this poll in a year's time. Until then, Simpson has the runs on the board.

Doesn't have Kerr's pace or tackle busting ability but he compensates with his magic habit of always getting pushed in the back when he's tackled.

Simpson looks a quality player from my limited exposure, but I'm looking forward to Monfries season. He's looked excellent this pre-season.
