A quick word of warning.
We've had way too much trolling from Richmond supporters on the Geelong Board so this week we're adopting a total zero tolerance policy.

"Respect the team when you post on their board"

As per the site rules, show respect to our club and our posters and you won't have a problem.

However, any trolling or abuse this week will see you banned from this board immediately and may see you suspended from the site.

Our posters have all the rights, you have none.

Oh and if you have a look around with both eyes open you'd realise when it comes to disrespecting opposition teams, the Richmond Board is the absolute worst.
A total cesspool overrun with moronic kids with little football knowledge but plenty of childish vitriole.

It was like that when you had active moderators.

Anyway, hopefully changes are made soon. We've all given our thoughts on the matter, just waiting on the head honcho to make the official decision.

Yeah but fostering respect (if earnt) regardless of what board you are on surely cannot be a bad thing.

Of course, but you have to put it into perspective.

Our board is generally more respectful, mature and accepting of outsiders than the vast majority of team boards.
Sure there is room for a bit more respect for opposition teams, but this is our haven, a place where our supporters can come and air their opinions without being trolled or abused.

My aim is to make this the best possible board for our supporters, the rest are irrelevant to me.

Being an administrator are you doing anything about it other than "protecting" your own board from the bastard spawn that is the tigers board ...."generally" ???

I don't touch other teams boards and you will not find an admin or mod that will.
It's an unwritten law that we respect the right of other club boards moderators to run their board as they see fit, and despite the changeover taking a long time, you do infact still have moderators on the Richmond Board (how active they are, i do not know).

As i indicated earlier, the choice and implementation of new Richmond moderators is Groves's domain. He is the ONLY person who makes such decisions, so if you've got an issue with how it's been handled, contact him.

I gave my opinion about who i thought should take over at least a month ago. If i had my way that person would have been put into the role immediately, but short of going over Groves's head there's not a lot i can do.

Lastly, i rarely if ever visit other club boards. Don't have the time or inclination (so devote my time moreso to the boards i officially moderate), and i certainly wouldn't visit the Richmond Board in it's current state unless it was absolutely vital.
