I don't think our "Team of the Future" is too bad. We are looking at these players as they are now. Hopefully, in 2-3 years, Reilly, Johncock, Watts, Hentschel, Begley will all be top-liners, and the likes of Parker, Massie, Stenglein, Schuback, Andrews etc, will all be good, solid performers.

No, the point i was trying to make is that Adelaide have with very few exceptions gone after a real gun player. It's not like they have a go and miss out, they don't even try.

And after what happened with Carey I think they'll be even more gun shy.

And no, I was very happy to get Jars. I thought he could help solve the problems we had delivering the ball into the F50, and more specifically to Modra. To a large extent I got that wrong too.

You can only work with what you have, l would have loved to add names like judd, reiwold, goddard, ball, pavilch but who know what we are going to trade for and draft over the next few years.
