I was thinking the same thing mate, obviously it will be a miracle if we win tomorrow but we aren't out of it even if we lose.

I'm really hoping we can knock the cats off tomorrow, as unlikely as it's looking. Do that and we have three winnable games to run home with, without the added pressure of every game being cut-throat.

Swans v Saints is a huge game, particularly for the Swans who would be vulnerable if they lose with a have a harder run home of the 2 - Brisbane (away), Pies (away) & Hawks (home).

EVERY result is going our way. We are a MASSIVE chance of making the finals. Even if we lose tomorrow we are still with a shot. I am confident we can sneak in there some how. We are playing some quality teams though.

7 needs to fit into 2, thats the way I see it. I've conceeded sydney now, and with port winning that leaves 2 spots in the 8 up for grabs currently held by Brisbane and Collingwood. St Kilda, Bulldogs, Crows, Bombers and Freo are the 5 outside the 8 after those two spots.

The match that could decide our position in the 8 will be the last round against Collingwood at TD. We need collingwood to lose one more game before they play us, they play melbourne and sydney at the MCG. We of course will need to win 2 of our 3 games before we play them. If beat collingwood we will move ahead of them on %.

I believe now, the way this round has fallen, that 12 wins will get us in the 8. St Kilda and Freo play each other, so none of them can finish with more than 12 wins. We play Brisbane and WB. If we beat them, which we have to do anyway to make the 8, then none of those teams can finish with 12 wins.
That leaves the Bombers, they have to travel 2 subiaco twice. I don't think they can beat both Freo and West Coast over there, so they are 12 wins at best, but a poor %.

If you didn't understand all of that then these are the 3 key things that need to happen.:
- We must beat WB, Brisbane and Collingwood
- Must try and maintain a superior % to Freo (means we must minimise damage at Geelong).
- Collingwood to lose to either Sydney or Melbourne

True. 2 weeks in a row they have let us down. Would have loved for them to have won today.

The results this week have worked brilliantly for us. Couldn't have asked for much more. It is on us now to make the finals. If we win three of our last four games we will make the eight, and I think can challenge in the finals.

If you plot the rest of the season out too it is quite possible that we will have another showdown final. And I wouldn't mind that at all.

Fremantle increased their % to only 3% behind us now. Makes it hard to know who we want to win out of Freo and the Saints now.

I'd probably still say Freo as the saints could still finish on 12.5 wins and the most we can get is 12.
