Does HaroLad still play? I remember in my rookie season people used to talk about him like he was voldermort. He had a real aura about his name.
He’s certainly an enigma around the club.

He’s currently sitting on 199 games and biding his time before he cracks that milestone.
With the Cats on the big stage this week you can expect HaroLad will be up and about!
Please play him this week! We've been kicking the arse of clubs celebrating milestones.
By popular demand, he’s back for his first game since S38 … and his 200th in the SFA!
It’s time for … #Harolad200 !!
Sometimes there's a man ...
… well, he's the man for his time and place.
Truth is he was just a teenager, but he was a fearless leader nevertheless.
He served his apprenticeship with the Wonders from S17, and was further initiated into the SweetFA at the Dragons before joining the Baghdad Bandits in S21 - the season before they reverted to being the Bombers.
He debuted in Baghdad’s fortress era, under the shadow of Abdu Prison. The SFA was at it’s peak lawlessness and peacocks strutted the hallowed halls fanning their feathers with abandon.
By S23/24 he was Captain, with outstanding recruits such as Tony Lynn 15 and TheCoach16 joining proven stars such as KohPhi as they completed a stunning back-to-back Premiership run, confirming beyond doubt that the name change was the right choice.
That was the moment his name became part of Baghdad folklore and synonymous with taking on all comers and capturing hearts and minds.
It’s one thing to pronounce your credentials but it takes action to establish them as facts.
Lock him in. The greatest Bomber of all time
HaroLad fitted in seamlessly with the Bombers’ tradition of hard-nosed, sometimes brutal Qooty, mixed with desert-flavoured banter.
He was integral to Bombers’ antagonistic thread culture with cheeky remarks, tactical humour, and a steady presence.
Measured, witty, and with a touch of dry Baghdad grit.
I had the opportunity to interview the great man before his 200th.
Firstly congratulations on your 200th mate.
Favourite Sweet FA season (so far)?
Without doubt, S23. First ever club to receive a disrepute charge, multiple discussions in committee for me to be stood down as captain, serious discussions to remove us from the league, got the admin to quit, back to back, and then banned.
Which positions have you played mostly?
Back in the day I was a gun midfielder - so much so I think I was a runner-up in the Mobbs one season to pantskyle . It was rigged, of course.
Who is your avatar? Has it changed over time?
I used to change my avatar quite regularly, once every month or so. Since I've been resurrected, I've stayed quite consistent, and decided just to be true to myself - that's a photo Citroin took of me baiting Richmond posters.
One of the funniest posters or characters in your time at the Bombers?
I'm not being ironic when I say this, but Dawn to Dark - the best poster (other than Citroin) that made me piss myself laughing from sheer animosity.
Any mates you’d like to mention who were a great support or inspiration in your career?
The S23 leadership group, excluding that leaking campaigner miggs (R.I.P.)
KohPhi TheCoach16 LicoriceAllsorts …
They were all a great support and instrumental to our success during my time at the helm. Couldn't have asked for a better set of mates during that time.
We cultivated an incredible culture that still persists today and I'm incredibly proud to have been a part of that …
How important a role did Kohphi play in the Bombers “point of difference”?
He was pretty important, if not the key person. Really fantastic bloke and an amazing poster, one of the GOATs
How important was Tony Lynn in the whole “tone” (pun intended) of the Bombers unsociable Qooty.
Again, he was pretty important. Very optimistic, easygoing and great bringer together of people. Love him.
A ripping bloke and one of the funniest posters I've ever seen.
He embodied the Baghdad spirit more than anyone else. I'm sure he'll be back.
If you could have recruited any poster from another club, who would you have gone after?
Blacky - I got him to agree to join us in about S 22 or so. I can post the screenshots if people like.
A Captain or leader from any club or season that you admired?
I quite admired haydo 's reaction to TheCoach16 pranking him into thinking he was joining, and then I took two of his best players in quick succession. He quit.
But, in all seriousness, The Filth Wizard mentored me in my early seasons, and for that I am greatly appreciative.
What key ingredients makes a quality poster?
I really knew how to draw attention to myself and get under people's skin - the best at that of all time, without doubt.
Can you name a media thread you thought was a great idea?
This thread changed the course of league history: Media - Viva la Sweet IV
And this thread got me permanently banned: Media - Important Announcement
Both great.
The time he spoiled star wars for Chief was pretty hilarious.
Media - BOYS CLUB ARE AN UTTER DISGRACE
*Warning - This Thread contains 100% factual information Oh the boys club. A miniature, wannabe apex gang that allegedly roams the streets of the SFA. They call the shots, they run proceedings. How this group came to such great heights is a question for the senior players of the SFA to answer...
