To me thats a very personal thing and is something i prefer not to think about let alone post about. It also might be a very sensative issue to a lot of people who might take offence to the topic.

Depends on the individual person and situation, but it would be pretty hard to forgive and move on, I would consider that one of the worst things you could do to a boyfriend/girlfriend. Total lack of commitment.

I did get close to my girlfriend last year, and i heard she was kissing one of my friends who has been on overseas exchange and came back for a week. It was hard to break up, even though i was fuming and she cheated, because i became close to her and we had been dating for 3 months, but i did dump her because i came to my senses that she was a cheating whore
It depends on the situation.
If they are obviously very, very sorry and remourseful, and they were drunk or something like that, I would forgive them.
If it was just for the sake of being with someone else, then I'd break up with them.

Well people do a lot of stupid things when they are drunk. It is a pretty lame excuse but I am just using it as an example. If they had no control, as in they were blind drunk, then you still wouldn't forgive them?

If my girlfriend got so drunk that she passed out, and then some guy decided to have sex with her while she was drunk, and she woke up in the middle of it and didnt want to say anything in fewar of being beaten....then yeah i would probably forgive her. Mind you i doubt i would ever be able to look at her the same again - as it would be her fault for getting so drunk she had no control over her body.

I don't know... as you can see I've obviously (thankfully) had no experience on anyone cheating on me, so, unless it does happen in the future, I can't say that I can really comment.
I've got a friend who has been cheated on like 4 times by the same girl. The chick tried to cheat on him with me but I told her to **** OFF. You know what the cause of all this cheating was...alcohol. I don't think she can handle it to well. It is NO excuse.
Mind you, he knows that she has cheated on him, she even admited it to him...yet he is still going out with her. Makes you wonder.
Cheating is a BIG NO NO. However listen to their excuses then decide if you want to tell them where to go or whether to forgive and forget.

Very openminded responses Meg. I agree, every situation has to be looked at in isolation. (not suggesting I have been there however). As you are an intelligent, open minded Blues fan, there would never be any need for anybody to cheat on you!!
