Moderator announcement: A reminder about the board rules
The Geelong Board is to be a place that encourages vibrant, diverse and insightful discussion. The board has set of rules that are designed to encourage this objective. It is timely for everyone to re-familiarise yourselves with the rules and to bear them in mind when posting.

The Geelong Board rules are to be read in conjunction with BigFooty's 'Commandments' - http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/help/terms.
Some highlights from the Commandments to bear in mind:
- Don't be a pest.
- Don't bait or provoke negative responses.
- Don't feed trolls. Report posts instead of taking the bait.
- Publicly complaining about, ranting over and criticising moderators and their actions is not accepted. Take it up with the moderator privately, then with Admins if you still have a problem.
The moderators on the Geelong Board will be keeping a close eye on posts that infringe the board's rules or the Commandments. Use the 'report' button to alert the mods to infringing posts rather than trying to deal with it within a thread yourself. This helps prevent things from escalating. Moderators will deal with reported posts behind the scenes and leave others to do what the board is designed for - posting about the Cats.
