A lot of posts have needed to be deleted in the last few days and weeks. I'm not sure why this is happening, but I suspect it's astrological. There were warnings but they weren't heeded by some, so here we are.
If you haven't read the rules of the board thread, you might want to do that. If you can't be bothered and would like me to highlight two important rules that seem to be being skirted around, then you're in luck.
There is no ban on discussing controversial topics, but if you only want to vent incoherently and inconsistently, you can expect to be called out by other posters. That is not against the rules, and responding to that with personal insults is a good way to end up with a board ban.
The moderators of the board try to maintain a fairly hands off approach to letting posters sort their differences out, but it seems in the last month too many have been resorting to personal insults and off topic thread derailing. Please don't do that, I've already bemoaned the time that takes away from my embarrassing hobbies in another thread.
There are three steps to perfectly balanced harmony on the board
1. Report posts that break board rules. If it's an obvious troll, just let the post slide. You don't have to respond to everything.
2. Understand that particular during and immediately post game emotions are higher. Match threads are relatively free for overexpression, but this does not give a pass to insulting or harassing behaviour to other posters.
3. If you can't respond constructively, don't respond. If a poster is so mind numbingly irritating and off putting, you can always use the ignore poster function and you'll be blissfully protected from any future ramblings. But you can't ignore mods (or at least you couldn't?), so tough luck on that.
