The violet crumbles had been on the ground for 5 minutes before OBG emerged and were involved in goal shooting practice when OBG ran on from the other end. Either get a better source or, better still, restrict your comments to what you see first hand.

I've changed my mark, it's now 'F':p

Ammo Man,
You need to really focus hard here, but i can promise you the OB team ran from the Sandringham rooms through the purples kicking drill, as the purples where infact warming up at that end of the ground before the game. Do not argue that. It is the truth. OB did their warm up and rev speech infront of the new grandstand and Bar. Ouch, it hurts to be wrong.

It seems the people that were actually there don't agree with anything you've posted. Not an auspicious start for you F.G:eek: Sorry the "F"still stands.:p

Ammo Man,
If you would like to put you money where your mouth is, and agrue that OB did not run through Wesley pre match warm up, then please do. Cos i can promise you OB had to warm up at the other end to where they ran out of the change rooms. See you come on this forum to speak words of wisdom, and for serious gossip, but your information and memory is completely wrong. Im only trying to rough up some feathers in here, and im more accurate in what i say than you are. Nothing ive said has been far from the truth. Your new name should be Clueless Man, because you say you were there, but you cant remember skwat. You werent the man:cool: walking the labradore by any chance? Give it up old man. your sight is going.

Footy Gods - I am pretty sick of this pointless arguement. And if I am, I am sure 80% of the other forum readers are sick of you too. The fact of the matter is OB got a king hit on OC which is a dog act and will be dealt with accordingly. Footy is full of poo stirrings and if you want to justify king hitting because teams are using the oldest tricks in the book, then you might want to start following UFC or something along those lines. There is plenty of room for stirring teams up in footy, but none for skull-thuggery.

Why are you defending this OB bloke anyway? You say you're from De la, but it sounds to me the way you're carrying on about this bloke that you were lining up for OB? Plus who in their right mind would openly make such bold predictions about their club at the start of the season. Go back to South Road.

Does anyone else concur with these opinions?

Let's not get further sucked-in by a puerile nuff-nuff who, when his ill informed comments are exposed, resorts to abuse.

Yeah i'm sick of this now as well but to reiterate, there was no niggle before the game, and OB DID NOT run through the OC kicking drill.

I'm happy to clarify any other point that people that weren't present are willing to manufacture.

I concur.. FG has posted 5 comments to date and I am already sick of him.. It's going to be a long season on BigFooty this year if he keeps up this dribble.

Gold Penski. Making "factual" comments on games you weren't at is dumb. He's made a real dick of himself.

Can anyone from old scotch enlighten us on the crazy number of clearance requests to d4 side Richmond central???

With the realignment of the A Grade competition and needing to have a "Premier 3rds" the club decided to only field one club 18 team this year. In recent times, their Under 19 used to make up about half the Club 18 (1) team but in 2010 they have a smaller intake and will not have left over players. The club also had a fair injury count last year and had to forfeit a couple of games - didn't want that to happen again.

A lot of the old second Club 18 players didn't think they would be up to playing a higher grade so they go with the club's blessing to create a new South section club.

So, given the limitations the VAFA apply to players moving clubs, are there any 'rules' governing how the transfer of 20+ players from one VAFA club to another? (I think the normal limit is 6 transfers..)

No concern on clubbies, but what does this mean for the D4 competition?

Thanks ammo footy
there are plenty of clubs (not just those in d4) that would be envious of such a large influx of numbers
Will be watching with keen interest as to what vafa hq's ruling on this is

I think you will find that it will have no impact on D4 as all these players will play in their new Club 18 side in South section and not push up into 1's and 2's. They all want to play together.

Watched a bit of the game at South Rd. OB well on top and could prove a handful in the opening few games, or at least until they start getting rubbed out. Marston played forward and looks like a genuine leading FF. Blues, not sure but couldnt recognise many faces.

Old Melbourne got smashed by Balwyn. Number 11 in the ressies for Melbourne is a ****ing fairy. Nothing better than smashing those pretenious w***ers.

Surprise result - perhaps reports of OB demise a bit premature.....then again, who knows what Uni bring out from week to week. No doubt lots of different players will come for the season proper. Neville back is a win for them though.

Stirring game for OS out at East Ringwood (EFL Div 1) yesterday. First ten minutes looked very even and I thought we were in for a cracker but that was just the sides testing each other out.

The Roos played fairly hard and uncompromising footy, but Scotch began showing a mismatch in speed and skills from late in the first. By the end of the third OS were all over them like herpes and ran away with it in the last to finish 23-10-148 to 12-8-80.

Passador will have to work on his accuracy, maybe he was just breaking in a new pair of kicking boots. Took some strong marks though.

Must admit that by the end of the game, I was looking at the East Ringwood players and wondering "They get *paid* for this???" These guys wouldn't trouble most B Section sides.

Based on what I saw last year, OS are probably looking at a solid fifth or sixth spot if they can keep injuries at bay.

The boys from Wesley knocked off De La by 4 goals on Saturday from all reports - no report on how the game was played or who played well

I watched the first half and the to be honest, De La looked extremely sharp and really had Collegains measure! I am suprised to see that Coll beat them, the momentum must have changed in the second half. I was impressed watching both De La's seniors and reserves.

Does anyone know how the red knob from OB went last night in at the
tribunal?

My mail had DLS winning by 7 points, after leading by 16 points at the half. Pretty close most of the day.
