A woman has been found with multiple stab wounds in the boot of a car after breaking the tail light and waving hoping a motorist would see her in the NSW Southern Highlands. Good for her she got her hand out of that tail light and a truck driver spotted it. Great job all concerned, really. Bravo the woman in the boot, the truck driver and the cops for acting quickly.

The driver — an 18-year-old woman — and her passenger — a 24-year-old woman — are being questioned by detectives at Southern Highlands Police Station.

Police said the truck driver spotted a hand protruding through the tail light of a white Holden Commodore travelling south on the Hume Highway at Pheasants Next.

It took highway patrol officers 20 minutes to track down the car and rescue a 24-year-old woman from the boot at Berrima.

"Some excellent work done by the motorist who identified the hand coming out of the vehicle and they subsequently notified police and we can't thank the motorist enough," Detective Chief Inspector Brendan Bernie said.

Ms Katley was charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, taking or detaining in company with intent to occasion actual bodily harm, taking and driving a conveyance without the consent of owner, driving motor vehicle during disqualification period and drug possession.

Ms Henderson was charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, taking or detaining in company with intent to occasion actual bodily harm, taking and driving a conveyance without the consent of owner and being an unlicensed person driving a vehicle on a road.

Who was driving?

Last name of one of the assailants is Ketley, not Katley.

Who was driving?

So the cops are proceeding against assuming the intention was to take the victim somewhere else and kill her.

Yep, a truckie who dialed 000 and the cops swooped quickly. She apparently was in the boot for several hours. And car was stopped at Berrima which is not far from the Belanglo forest - Ivan's territory.

They're from Campbelltown and it looks like the police are real curious too as to where they were taking the woman in the boot.

Both women are from the Campbelltown area and police were on Wednesday investigating why they were in the Southern Highlands and if the alleged abduction was related to drug crime.

But on Thursday morning, Detective Chief Inspector Brendan Bernie from the Hume Police District said the incident appeared to have been motivated by personal grievances.

This probably isn't going to help her.

Ms Henderson was a close friend of teenager Brayden Dillon, who was killed in a revenge execution in 2017. “He was a really good friend of mine. It’s so hard to accept the fact that he’s gone,” she told media at the time.

Sentencing is next week.

Videos were played to the court showing Henderson and Ketley singing along to hip hop music as Ms Phillips was in the boot and the GPS was set to the Belanglo State Forest.

Smoked ice day before hearing with her kid still in her custody. Hopefully long custodial sentence.

During the car boot abduction while on way to belanglo forest the two assailants bought ice creams and gave the victim some ice cream and water
