Hey All,

Just wanted to say a big thanks for the thousands of bomber fans who rose to their feet to recognise Archer as he did the lap of honour pre game on Monday. It was stirring. The mutual respect between Arch and Hird is a fantastic lesson to younger footballers i think.

Classy stuff I wish Arch had of played!

Watching Hird and Arch on the big screen. You just feel empty that you won't be seeing them go at it again. Champions both of them.

Agree. How could you not love the way Archer played: hard as nails but fair and honest with genuine integrity.

as i said to my kangas mate, its impossible not to respect glenn archer, he is just a testament to the game.
