If you search twitter "Australian Football" it pops up with all kinds of people writing things about our game. Largely they are confused and do not know what is going on (though some quite like it).

However for them to post something on twitter it shows that the game has made a decent impact on them.

Im considering starting up an Australian Rules Football explanation twitter account pointing these people to their local leagues ... or something similar. Any other ideas, or suggestions for ways we can harness this into something good?

There were approximately 15 -20 such posts in the last 24 hours ... a decent amount for only one keyword.

The easiest way would be post a link to worldfootynews.com.au
or aussierulesinternational.com
