MELBOURNE DEMONS! :)
I just read on the Demons site that Anthony Ingerson has announced his retierment and won't complete the rest of the season, due to physical problems.
Ingo has been a great player and has contribute heaps to the team, he is a leader and a mentor and i'm sure his departure will be hard on all the players!

Sadly Ingo has to leave on such a bad note, with the team doing so badly, but at least now he can spend more time with his wife and newly born baby girl.

Thank you Ingo for great 6 years, you have been an asset and Good Luck for the future in what ever you may choose to do!

GO DEES! :)

I must say I have not been his biggest fan of Ingo over the last few years but it is sad that he has had so much trouble this year. I heard him interviewed on the radio this afternoon and from what he said, it must have been tough.
Anyway hopefully this will now mean that it will FORCE the coach to play Chris Lamb. That is, if he has any sense left.

:( i'll miss him!

i for one am not too happy that he is leaving. melbourne don't have the best defenders in the league, but ingo was one with plenty of talant. i know that this yr hasn't been too good for him (and the rest of the dees), but i guess if he feels he can't go on, he really can't.
ingo, all the best for the future, i hope you are succesfull in what ever it is that you decide to do with your life! good luck.

now... dees01, what is going on with you latley? you've been bagging the club, giving sh!t to almost every players there is! are you not a melbourne supporter any more? coz that what is seems like! all clubs have rough yrs, and melbourne are having one now, but that gives you no right to slag of every player we have.
ingo for one has don't quite a bit for the club in the past, and i respect him for that. he thinks he's doing the best thing for him and the club! leave the poor guy along, he's going through alot...

GO DEES!!!

Ingerson was a top defender in his time with us and kept some of the best players in the comp quiet. He is probably the best CHB we've had at the club for a long time. Very, very underrated and was one of the big reasons we did so well last year...

We'll miss him, but it looks as if he's made the right choice...

The club deserves to be bagged at the moment. I am quite annoyed. I have not bagged every player, just the one's that deserve it. We have to aim for success dees gal, not accept rough years.
What did I say that was so bad about Ingo. I said it was said that he had to retire mid season. I may not have been his biggest fan, but so what!
