It seems we have learned nothing. The mid ranged plodder group of Masten, Hutchings and Redden are absolutely useless when going for or exiting a contest.

The amount of players I have seen slip over, dive into the turf rather than tackle properly, run past the contest then crab walk, waiting for someone else to go in, is frustrating.

Add to that Gaff et al, either missing contact on kicks, or watching Sheed spectate, or "standpass" to another static target, makes you consider just how much they want the victory.

A midfield with Priddis, Gaff, Sheed, Hutchings, Masten, Redden in it is unsustainable. It offers the defensive pressure of a wilted vegetable and the vigour of an osteoporitic walrus.
