I think it is about time the AFL awards the players from the winning team in the GF appropriately.

At the moment the players recieve a crappy medal which anyone can buy at an AFL store.

Now I know the yanks like to give rings for championships but maybe the AFL could at least present the players something that is worthy of their achievements not some $10 insult.

winning the premiership isnt about getting a $100,000 medal or ring
its about 12 months of hard work, its about the supporters, tradition and all those who have come before.
you dont need an expensive medal to say you are the best team, get real.
