Who are the Selectors?
The 2022 All Australian selection panel:
Gillon McLachlan (chairman), Kevin Bartlett, Jude Bolton, Nathan Buckley, Kane Cornes, Andrew Dillon, Glen Jakovich, Chris Johnson, Cameron Ling, Nick Riewoldt and Brad Scott.

The bolded have rarely a good word about us.

Why when the Media is Involved I don't really pay much attention of it.

All-Australian is Overrated then

Weitering really??? Over Darcy Moore …. Gotta be kidding.

That Nick Daicos didn’t make this squad is mind boggling.

Those selectors are smoking some bad weed

Nick is going to be a Collingwood legend. He's shot out of the blocks in his first year and is a shoo-in to win the Rising Star Award and AFLPA Best First-Year Player.

It might not be a bad thing to not shower him with too many accolades in his first year and give him something to aim for next year and keep him hungry to grow and improve.

Having said that...he should be in the squad!

For the most part that's right, but I sense Nick Riewoldt is quite the admirer of what we have done this season and was the first talking head to suggest we were in serious premiership contention.

Is it just me who wonders why Jamie Elliot doesn’t make the squad? He is the complete small forward, has had a fantastic year.

Not just you. Absolutely agree. The argument against might be that there is a lot of competition for his ‘position’. And I’m sure there is. But I’m also sure that few if any others would have had the same impact over the course of this season.

He has literally won games for us off his own boot, and through his own efforts and smarts. ‘Match winner’ is an overused term in footy, but Jamie has done this time and again this season.

Ridiculous that such an influential player in 2022 has been left out of the squad.

Nick Daicos and Darcy Moore are stiff.
Pretty sure he had more goals kicked against him than most kpds.

Nick is rated below average 1 on 1 so if you are getting a below average rating for a category it may count for something. He is very outside with most of his possies being handed to him even though we know he is capable of winning the ball.
I would usually accept this point accept what he has done offensively has been so great he doesnt need to be good 1 on 1 as a defender as they are now starting to tag him! Only loss in last 3 months was because he was being tagged.

Carlton lost by 5 goals to Adelaide. Walsh 41, Cripps 40, Docherty 32, Saad 26 all played supposedly well. Difference when we played them is Nick had 40 and kicked 3 goals. We won by a goal. Nick doesnt play we dont make top 4. Then there are the Nth game, Hawks, GC games where I dont think we win with out Nick. That happens we are not playing finals. I'd actually go as far as saying he might be the MVP in the comp because of the impact he has had in some of our close wins.

Nick plays for Carlton instead of Docherty and Saad and I am guessing they would beat Crows because he has an ability to change games by changing direction and opening up scoring opportunities. All night they didnt have a player capable of changing direction of a game. This is what he has done and can do.
