Back after my Day Off yesterday. Seems some of our Carlton friends are a little sensitive to some banter.

Can’t believe Nick didn’t get in. I don’t think he should make the side personally, but he is definitely worthy of the squad.

I think he's fantastic, but it's stats I suspect. Doesn't kick as many goals as some, which is discounting the incredible contest he brings that helps create field position and goals for the team.

I haven’t taken AA seriously since Pendles started missing out on squads but Selwood was still getting in AA teams. Pendles should have a couple of more AA’s to his name.

Also watch the Bont get in the team when IMO he hasn’t had that good of a year compared to his previous years.

Yeah, I don't think they understand the inside/outside nature of the good teams if they're picking inside mids for all the flanker roles - is Leon Cameron coaching the team?

AA selection gone mad. The whole point of the team is that the players selected are meant to be the best in the league in their position. Instead though, the judges look at every high performing inside mid and throw them in the team out of position because “they deserve it”.
Guess what? They don’t deserve it. The best inside mids in the comp deserve to be in the spots reserved for inside mids. Just as the best wings, defenders, and forwards deserve to be occupying the spots that indicate they’re the best in the league at their role.
That AFL.com team is a ****ing abomination and the people that put it together should be ashamed of themselves.

They don't pick players in the side compared to their previous years, they pick them compared to the other candidates for a slot in the same year...
