No Geelong rep. I think Gaz was a bit stiff not to get a pocket or HFF, and even Ottens could be an interchange.
Should there be a cat in there?
PS:(i'm pretty sure no geelong player was chosen, i did look to see if this was correct)

Yeah Ottens could be CHPUB.
The only Gellong player who deserved to get in and didn't was Chapman.
Ablett was too inconsistent all year.

Chapman and Scarlett unlucky, ablett was injured for too much which made him inconsistent

I was just wondering what your nick means linga_is_no1...is it linga's number 1, or linga is no-one? :p

I'd have put Chappy in before Didak. IMO Didak's a downhill skier, always forward of the pack looking for a cheap one, whereas more often than not Chappy goes in and gets his own ball.

I'm bamboozled by Chapman's omission.

Compare Didak and Chapman.

Chapman 484 possessions Didak 396

Chapman 15th League most tackles Didak Not in Top 100

Admittedly Didak kicked 41 goals to Chapman 31 goals but Didak plays more as a permanent forward pocket.

Chapman should win Geelong B&F in a canter. I can't see Didak finishing Top 3 at Collingwood.

Scarlett didn't deserve a spot this year, there were a few times he played as a loose man and not a true full back.

Chappy >>>>> Didak. But they needed to put a Colliwobble in there otherwise Lygon street would be burnt down

Haha.. Centre-Half Pub.. :D

Pretty much agree with ya on every point mini-me.
Well done.

Just spell Geelong right next time.

Lygon street is Carlton's hangout ... but considering Collingwood supporters were knocking each other out in the cheersquad on the weekend - i dont put burning Lygon street down beyond them.

Yeah get it right..

Collingwood's hangouts are Barwon, Port Phillip, etc...

The fact is that Geelong did not have 1 player good enough.
Lets not kid ourselves. That is why we need a clean out because our existing players do not have the GOODS

Chappy was stiff but Scarlo was prob'ly worse off I reckon. It's a shame when players are simply taken for granted because of how good they are.

A few times?

Scarlett can't help it if match-ups dictate that he's loose for a game, and I think the only game you're referring to is the Bullies where he racked up 30-odd touches. And in that game he was finally shifted onto Johnson in the last Q and, predictably, did the job.

I'd love to see how many goals all the FBs had kicked on 'em this year - especially compared to inside 50s against their side. Fact is we finished 10th, Scarlett was hardly beaten again and he's by far the most attacking FB in the comp. WC finished on top.

Hall, with Glass alongside him for 95% of the time, won the game for the Swannies on Satdy night. He didn't fare quite so well against M Scarlett. So raise ya Glass to the real All-Oz FB ...

Statistics still show him to be one of the top full backs (1 or 2 in goals kicked against) and he had little help this year
