Webster's been solid tonight, I might have him slightly ahead of Long in the battle to get Paton's spot, Long has more upside but is undisciplined.

Looks like fatigue setting in for some of our blokes- didn't run hard to make position. Need the forwards to get back into the game as they let the Carlton half backs run free that quarter.

Our defence was put under the pump in that quarter and held on, it was more by good luck than good management though, the Blues wasted chances.

This was the trend last year wasn't? Third quarters always a slog, give up repeat inside-50s and withstand, and then finish fast and overrun in the 4th. I remember it happening a number of times, let's hope we've got the legs to get it done.
