For as long as I can remember we have always struggled to play well in Adelaide, even when we were good... So can we pull it off against a weak Adelaide in a couple of weeks?

Certainly we've got plenty of incentive to win there this time- if we can't pull it off, then any chance of playing finals this year is gone.

If we're going to win over there (again) then this is the match to do it.

This!

With Sylvia and the skipper to return we are a chance. The Crows have gotten better over recent weeks which makes our job tougher though. Their forwardline has looked more potent and the midfield is starting to get their mojo back. But, if our defense stands firm as it has for most weeks, this year, and our midfield can hold there own, then it comes down to if we can kick a big enough score. We played great against Collingwood for 3 quarters and to take away 2 points was a fantastic result. But we still only managed to kick 76 points. That isn't going to win us too many games. So we need to find more avenues to goal. If we can do this, then we are a big chance. Our average losing margin over at AAMI would be horrendous, so now is the time to start changing that awful record!

It would be a huge confidence boost winning over there, almost as much as it would have been winning on Monday.

Adelaide have improved but are certainly nowhere near the team they were last year. We can definitely win, and I think we will.

Did we lose every game from about 03-06 by 72 points? Seemed to happen every single time no matter how well we were going, whether it was Port or Adelaide, always 72

Surley this time has to be THE one. I mean c'mon, Adelaide are shocking at the moment. I know they CAN play good footy and have done a few times this year but... we gotta win this, we really do. I can't see why we wouldn't, this whole AAMI stadium curse thing needs to end, and this is the perfect time for that to happen imo.

With that being said though, I expect Adelaide to give us a good run for our money, that much I expect. But really, we SHOULD win.

BTW; I wonder who goes in favourite?

If we're going to win a flag in a few years we'll have to win at least two games in Perth and Adelaide.

Adelaide were also warm favourites back in Round 3. Look how that turned out.

We played them over there in the pre-season and only lost by 2 points. We've improved considerably since then, I'm tipping us for a win.

To win this one, and kick off the second part of our season would be awesome. :thumbsu: Hopefully we can finish with 8 - 10 wins.

To be fair, we didn't have a bench in the last quarter. But the Dee's are playing some decent footy, I expect this to be a lot tighter than recent clashes at the venue between the sides.

Didn't we play them at Elizabeth Oval or somewhere like that?

Along with a draw and two close losses against flag favorites. Would be a very successful season if we could finish with a few more wins on the road, a decent spread of Brownlow votes, some high finishes in the Rising Star Award and a tight Best and Fairest.

And possible AA selection for the Russian would top off a great year for him.

to be fair we were out performing you guys pretty much the whole match, though it did take your side to start coming down with injuries to capitalise
