He should just be crumbing at the feet of Neitz and Robbo for the first 3 quarters, then when he's kicked 2 or 3 and got the confidence up, go into the midfield later in the game when he's got a bit more in reserve than the opposition's tired midfielders.

Quite simply he has to play FP/HFF for the majority of each game if he is going to play at his best.

When he is out, our defensive pressure inside 50 goes with him. He is being utiltised very poorly at the moment, when he plays onball he gets muscled off the ball too easily, he seems to be bigger and slower this year, but he isn't strong enough to play onball. Leave him in the forward line to chase and harass and set up goals, its clearly his best position ffs

At least he contributed to Robertson's miracle goal by dropping a mark and then spinning around and having the ball fly out of his hands.

Not up to it. A spell in the two's would get his mind back on the game. Danner's has set the example with Yze, he has to follow up with other senior players not performing or face looking like a wet fish.

I was disappointed to see Davey come off with an ankle when the game was seemingly lost and then 5 minutes later be ready to come back on when the game was there to be won! RUN it out for christ sake boy, no need to jump off as soon as the ankle gets a bit sore!

He is a beauty but this REALLY disappointed me even though I was an opposition supporter. Blokes like Robbo and Neita pushed through and are gone for a month! Bet you that Daveys ankle is fine now! He needs to bleed for the Dees and not just produce the flashy stuff IMHO.
