Clubs thinking hes a replacement for Higgins
Higgins 2015, 2016 before injury and 2017-18 have been elite.
Hall is a year older than what Shaun was before coming across.
A midfield of Cunnington, Jacobs, Higgins, Polec, Anderson, Dumont, Tyson and Hall now bats very deep. Good mix of A and B graders. Then theres LDU, Ahern, Taryn Thomas and Bailey Scott as youth in the VFL coming through the ranks.

He's coming off an average, injured couple of years, GCS are done with him and he's 28... not totally ridiculous

Andrew is and he's joining the Suns as an assistant.

I actually think this is a really smart move by North. Their midfield core is mostly 28+ now anyway with Ziebell, Cunnington and Higgins. Polec is a bit younger at 26. So really they need to strike in the next 2-3 years anyway. So might as well load up as best they can.
Hall is a high reward, high risk option but comes at a bargain basement cost. I think Brad Scott has a very good history of getting the best out of players too.
