Aaron Shattock/Tim Notting worth going for?

there the sort of trades you do if they fall in your lap, e.g. Begley from last year. Not worth pursuing off your own bat though.
Exactly. The same sort of thing happened with Massie.

We definetly need some KPP and ruckmen. Since we are going to basically be swapping fringe players this year, I would like us to get a medium defender with a bit of pace who can play on small forwards like Milne, Matera and the likes.

Re Shattock and Notting... are they really much chop or are we falling into the same trap the 15 other AFL clubs did in 1997/1998 when they rated and coveted the likes of Rintoul, Sampson, Eccles and co?

It wouldn't be hard to look a million bucks in a three-time premiership squad.

You called it correctly dyertribe. Spot on.

Leave them be and let's look at something we need that will improve the team and at value.

Personally, I am not a big fan of Shattock but I think Notting is OK. Nothing flash just an honest player.

Get them only if they fall in your lap for bugger all which won't happen.
