Hey folks,
Wondering if anyone here has access to ABC radio telecasts of grand finals particularly from the 70s and 80s featuring the likes of Tim Lane, Peter Booth, Doug Bigelow etc etc. Maybe even some 3AW grand final calls with Rex Hunt and Bill Jacobs if they're available.
These ones are on ABC grandstand:
Grand finals of 1979, 1992, 1997, 1964, 1984, 1977 & 1989 so I'm not after these. Although if anyone has the first quarter of '89 that'd be good as the podcast only has quarters 2, 3 and 4.
I have contacted ABC archives but no such luck there. I know these used to get put out on audio cassette.
If anyone can help that'd be fantastic.
Finally, grand finals aside if anyone knows if an ABC commentary is available for the '94 prelim between Cats and North that would be great news.
