I think it's time I updated you all on the state of the podcast. Story Tiiiiiiiime.
Ochre chucked in the keys to the magnificent bastard child that is the WCE Podcast a few months back. He created a thread about it, and being the massivecampaigner supporter that I am, I took the thing over with the intention of revamping it and hosting it for season 2017 and beyond.
I had ideas for theme music, I was going to organise a proper structure for guest hosts, I was going to revamp all the segment's.. You get the point. It was magnificently planned, and had it come to fruition I'm sure it would have been a damn good listen as well.
Here's the sticking bit though. In the past month or so, I've been through some rough shit, and long story short I've decided to leave Perth and return down south at the end of the year. I haven't quite nailed down living arrangements or anything else quite yet, all I know is I won't be here in Perth like I'd originally planned, and I won't have the capacity to do the podcast in the manner I intended.
However, what's my loss is possibly someone else's gain. I don't really want to kill the podcast off entirely, as that'd be a shame. Maybe when I know where I'm living etc I'll be able to deliver the podcast this board deserves, but right now we need an interim host. That's the true point I'm getting at.
So if you have delusions of grandeur, can run, record, edit and publish a podcast, and feel comfortable badgering Ochre about the process the first 5 or so times you make an episode, then please, step forward and take the keys. If no one is interested, I'll lay this bad boy down to rest; at least for next season, and see what happens come 2018.
