Did a few shots on leavers. Tasted alright. Hits you butYeah took a shoot after being already drunk in someone's house, woke up in a stranger's garden bed the next morning.
Couldn't remember anything but apparently I functioned well enough to land in the middle of their table and make a fair mess after attempting to flip over it.

No hangover either, never had one, (Hopefully) never will.
Haha, that is a true bummer.
I have had this conversation with someone else before. As much as I drink, I feel invincible, and when I wake up, no hangover, not that I am ever feeling 100%.
I am sure one day they will come.
Have had a shot, burnt all the way down... that was first and last.
You guys are doing it wrong. You dont shot it.
What you need is an Absinthe spoon and an Absinthe fountain, but if you cant get the fountain just chilled water from a jug will do.
You place the spoon on top/across your glass that already has a measure of Absinthe within. You place a sugarcube on the spoon and then slowy let the water drip onto the sugar and into the absinthe.
Its a much nicer drink when drunk this way.

Absinthe is an awesome drink. Very versatile. There are a lot of great absinthe cocktails at a favourite bar I frequent. The best for a Friday afternoon afterwork is called a "Death in the Afternoon" which is absinthe and champagne. Apparently this was Ernest Hemingways favourite. It is a seriously nice twist to champagne that packs a punch.
One brand, green fairy, still claims to have wormwood and thujone if you read the label on the back. Can anyone verify this claim?
TBH though if I'm after a strong liquor can't go past a nice OP rum. The absinthe hype never worked on me.
Had a shot of it once, had to sprint to the toilets straight away for a chuck. The spew entered my mouth as soon as it went down. So yeah, it's bad.
