They really put alot of pressure on to us today. I h8 Sydney!! Our kicks werent accurate. Birchall got reported! Worst game.
 
Unfortunately it showed what you need to be a contender. Discipline would be a good start. Not a lot of leadership today either. Any chance of putting some pressure on O'loughlin who was supposedly under an injury cloud. Worst thing for me was the lack of desire all over the field. We could have sewn up the double chance. Was at the SCG today and it was pretty warm, so the conditions would have taken their toll, but not from the 5 minute mark of the first quarter. Not good enough today and would think the Crows go in favourites next week.

i'm here just reading stuff outa curiosity, and because i'm as stunned as probly all you guys are about today's result, but just wanted to say i spent all last week feeling as barren as you guys seem to be now

your team was jumped today, no doubt, but i think you're certainties next week, you've been a class act all season, the crows are lucky to be there and don't really deserve to be, far as i'm concerned
you'll put 'em out of their misery

not at all suprised by todays loss but the margin sure did. there appears to be an apparent fear of adopting a new plan by hawthorn when the current one is not working. this was evident last week against footscray. we consistently went wide AROUND the ground and looked for buddy ( if I remember rightly he ended up with 2g 11 b ) they did this all bloody day, when they did go direct.....hey presto goal. lots of handball which on that day ,led to lots of turnovers. in addition the games they have lost this year ,many of them have been low scoring games.....sub 100 points.

Not an absolute disgrace ,but the fact they dont react quickly enough to try another option ,is a major concern especially when this sort of direction should come :mad:from the coaching staff.:mad::mad::mad::mad:
 
I must say, I'm usually the first person to tell supporters off for bagging players during a game, but today was a disgrace. I couldn't help but call them a bunch of sp@stics, it was ridiculous. They were lazy and unaccountable, undisciplined and just plain sh!thouse.

So frustrating :mad:

I agree about the "we will learn from this" statement. Because its obvious we havent learn. We still dont beat Sydney or Adelaide, they clog the corridor, we dont have a plan B, and were too scarred to get physical

Roughy we will get nowhere with this gameplan, Clarko insists on a running game to win games...it doesn't win finals or beat top sides, tackling , harassment and tough one on one football does....we are nowhere near a top 8 side, we caught teams off guard this year and got lucky...

Freo & St kilda will be back in the top 8 next year ..Brisbane, Bulldogs and Melbourne will also improve....all this talk about us been a contender next year i just can't see it anymore, we've had most of our side playing career best football, i don't think they will improve too much on that next year.

Crawf, Vanders, Dixon, McGlynn, Smith, Boyle, Brown, Mitch, Sewell, Young, Franklin, Guerra, Ladson, Bateman , Campbell, Taylor, Hodge, Lewis, ....all these guys have had a great year or are past there best , how much more will they improve?

Maybe you should support a different club? It seems that we have no future, we need to rebuild and there is nothing good about our game plan, tactics or anything to win a premiership?

Everyone said Sydney couldnt win a premiership with their game plan, and they did. Our offensive game plan is good, but its when there is a turn over we fail to man up loose men, we dont have the skills to chip around as we saw in 06.
