Well what can I say. I'm gutted. Just got back from the game and am feeling as low as shark ****e. So is my little six yo. We should have been smashed by the saints today.

We were pathetic. We clearly have players is this team that are not up to AFL standard;

Fleming (bloody hell, if Frawley plays this bloke next week I'll throw up!!!) Why is he getting a game????? How can professional footballers miss goals from 15 mtrs out FFS????

Ray Hall. No skills whatsoever and should have been offloaded whilst we had the chance. Bloody hopeless.

David Rhodan. Goes missing when the pressure is on and the hard stuff needs to be performed. His goal today was clearly touched. Time in the twos is needed.

Chris Hyde. Simply too small.

Greg stafford. His days are numbered. Too slow and cannot hold marks when it counts. Let's us down badly.

Darren Gaspar...needs more time to recover. Gives us no drive from the backline like he used to.

Tivendale... Soft as butter today and makes mistakes under pressure. Disposal is a worry.

Coghlan... Doesnt look fit.

Our disposal and decision making 2day was abysmal.

A. Kellaway.. Gets caught too often. Disposal is a worry.

Overall, we simply dont have the cattle and more drastic changes are needed at the end of the season. We must play tommy roach this week as well as schultz and weller. Fleming MUST be dropped.

We have no game plan and frawley is on borrowed time.

I think Ray Hall is a forward, coz as soon as he went forward he did much better and Zantuck is a defender, was much better there then in the forward line!!!

I agree Cogs doesnt look fit!! Tivendale has had a shocker start to the year, Fleming needs to be dropped and Gaspar came beack early from his injury so cut him some slack

I agree with most of your points IITB. Game plan has gone missing. All they wanna do is chip the ball around and play this possession type footy. I AIN'T WORKIN!

As for some of the players, well what can i say. .
A.Kellaway - Gets the ball and looks behind him for an option. Was one of the worst games he has played for the club

I think Cogs is suffereing from the extra attention he is receiveing from oppostion teams after a stellar 2003.

Tiva is hot and cold. He was absolutely freezing today. Against the pies, was hot. Needs to become a consistant contributor

Hall & Fleming are duds.

Even though we got trounced today, there were still some positives.
Performances from Browny and Bowden were fantastic. Fiora was also good apart from a few turnovers.

We tried to trade Hall, remember he was upset at being trade bait. Obviously no one wanted him. I think he looked better in attack today and maybe we should give Morrison a try in defence instead. I would really like to have a look at Hall playing on the wing though. At least he now seems to have a position instead of being used as a spare parts player and third ruckman.

We need to give some others a run, maybe Tuck, Roach, Schulz, Weller and dare I say it Fletcher (he was obviously rated higher at Carlton than Fleming). We will need Hilton, Pettifer and Blumfield to step up too.

I'm disappointed we only have a 5 day break this week but it should mean that we use it as an opportunity to try some fresher legs.

For what it's worth -

Frawley - nothing new here. A change is required.

Ray Hall - will show the odd sign of promise but will never make it. Never understood why was not let off for nothing if necessary.

Rodan - gone missing. Does the odd flash thing but not up to standard

Tivendale - as someone said. 'Soft as butter'. Trade when possible. Not worth the effort for two good games a year.

Fleming - on borrowed time.

Hyde - not enough opportunity given to make an informed choice

Fiora was not our worst player. He made a couple of horrendous blues like kicking to Hamill on the backline but the players I have mentioned hadh horror days. This team cracks under pressure and opposition coach have us worked out. We play out wide because our opposition makes us play out wide. We fall into the trap every damn week. It gives them time to get numbers on the backline when we have the ball.

Fair dinkum.
