More often than not quality does = sales. Those two Bowie albums each contain a side worth of experimental, electronic, instrumentals. Hardly stuff that is going to help shift millions of albums.
.
What about changing it to Led Zeppelin Vs The Beatles?

You're right, wtf is it?![]()
I just happened to listen to them after reading a review in the Herald Sun and thought if they're good enough to be in that newspaper, then they must be pretty good.
And then after I listened to the first few songs, I couldn't hear a number one hit at all as their songs went for waaay too long. I mean, how the hell do you expect to be on the radio when you do that?
Me and the rest of the AC/DC fans look at them and laugh at their small fan base.

'Sif der Hun would review PT though. It'd take up precious space reserved for circlejerking the latest crap to be released by whichever major label Uncle Rupert owns.
And FWIW, this thread needs more Madtiger in it.![]()
No, it's a competition. This is a footy forum, everything's a competition...Not meaning to be obtuse, but why does there need to be an indicator? It is music, after all.

If record sales are what we're going by here, Crazy Frog is better than both of them!
Sadly, people fail to understand this concept which is why this thread exists.
look mate, at the end of the day, record sales DO give some kind of indication when its between two big bands
crazy frog doesnt count...
the point im trying to make is also to find out who prefers which artist more. i really should have added a poll to this. also if someone asked a question of which was the bigger band? regardless of fancy shmancy like - ('ohh what do u mean bigger? bigger as in $$$ or fame) or watever.. i guarantee more votes will lead to AC/DC.
