Academy Awards. Did anyone see American Beauty ?

Did anyone see American Beauty. Kevin Spacey was fantastic. It was such an original movie.

Any thoughts ?

Fantastic film? Yes

Better than The Insider? Yes

Kevin Spacey great in it? Yes

Better than Russell Crowe in The Insider? No

Original Film? Not really - see Happiness, In the Company of Men and Your Friends and Neighbours and tell if you still think this.

However, still good to see a quality film win for a change.

Loved it!

The fact it was made by a Brit makes it even better.

It's amazing that something so dark, can at the same time be so funny and thought provoking......

Have you seen The Hurricane? I thought Denzel Washington was overrated. Lester Burnham 'rules'.

But this is way off topic!
