In 2014, there will be 10 teams playing in a mixed pool format which was the same as last year.
Pool 1 contains alphabetically Ainslie, Belconnen, Eastlake, Gungahlin, Riverina and Tuggeranong.
Pool 2 contains ADFA, ANU, Molonglo and Queanbeyan.
Personally based on last years results Ainslie and Queanbeyan should have swapped places on the promotion/relegation format.
This afternoon at Footy Park, the participants in the talented player program who have been training throughout the summer played North vs South but it seems it was more like Black Jerseys vs Yellow Jerseys as both teams had a mixture of players in either side from the same club.
North (Yellow) 14.5.89 defeated Black 9.4.58 (South). I thought Karina Demant, Danielle Peel were standouts but some of the players in the lower divisions were solid showing the spread of talent.
Good luck to all players and clubs. Closer to round 1, I will give my pretty rubbish predictions on how the clubs will fare.
