Its not the penetration that's the issue.......its the accuracy.

400m runners...........might mean he is a bit slow off the mark.

Will be fighting Hadley for a spot next year IMO.

he would have this year- had he not been injured most of the year. even then he struggled to get games.

Went to school with AB @ Bernard's...Always knew he was going to become an AFL player.

Its funny how he lacks pace in the AFL and yet at high school he was running in the 400m...obviously there's quite a step up, or not much competition.

He would be a very, very good player if he had more penetration with his kicking

You didn't say 'how well he ran them'

Can't imagine a less likely build for a 400m runner than AB

Can't imagine a less likely build for a 400m runner than AB

Saw him do 800s with Josh Kennedy when they were both not training with the main group.
Josh by about 300 - 400m every time, nearly lapped him on each 2 lap race of Pratt oval.
JK may not have sprinted well but boy does he have a big engine

Come on - that has to be crap. I made a little fun of AB being school 400m rep but if he was - there is no way somone as slow as JK would be almost lapping him doing 800.

ps Just so that we are on the same wavelength - I call referring to a player as a 'spud' disrespect. You have the right to do it all you want but don't tell me it is respecting one of YOUR players

This is no crap mate........Bentick was running alongside Dylan McLaren and JK was almost lapping them 4 or 5 times in a row in pre season.

JK was amazing....no bullshit.......he has a big stride and huge tank.....it was awesome from his point of view.

I think he will eventually show his Carlton critics up when he gets his body right and confidence up.

JK lacks accelaration and may be a slow 20m runner but is awesome over 800m

Interesting to note that before closing his BF account 'doh its me' changed his team to Collingwood. Made me curious enough to read all his posts - could he have always been a subtle troll

I used to love this player, great tackler and he was one of the few midfielders who sacrificed their game to shepherd for other players, mainly Judd.
