I'm not fussed if Walsh and Cerra tie for the Brownlow.Mate, I’ve watched every game he’s played You are getting an outright future Brownlow medallist. You need to remember he is 22 and still has huge improvement. Compare players at age 22. Mundy at that age was average and just polled 20 votes as a 36 year olds.
I hope Cerra reads all the crap on here, dumps his VIC girlfriend and stays at Freo.
Dusty is the original
Treloar and 28 did go for 7, 7, 62. So there is precedent, somewhat.

Treloar at the same stage of his career as Cerra, averaged 27 disposals and over 5 tackles per game, he was a long long away ahead in terms of development and output, his 3rd season at the Giants was of similar output.
Haven’t seen many freo games, and not completely sold on player stats or highlights in isolation. Combined with our recent history of recruiting young mids I can understand some posters hesitancy in trading our first pick for Cerra.
But, finishing 3rd in their bnf as a 20 year old is a much more impressive achievement than any of our young mids (Walsh excluded).
If you're going to all that expense why not get your solicitor to check them prior to postingMy Barrister writes my posts for me
You may want to try engaging with more reasonable posters on this board. You've gone to a nice steak place, turned to the back of the menu and ordered the dubious vegetarian option.Mate, I’ve watched every game he’s played You are getting an outright future Brownlow medallist. Treloar also didn't have a season where games were reduced by 20% playing time, a 17 game season, nor the 6-6-6 rule in place.Treloar at the same stage of his career as Cerra, averaged 27 disposals and over 5 tackles per game, he was a long long away ahead in terms of development and output, his 3rd season at the Giants was of similar output.
Good. We need someone with good positioning who likes space. We have too many players who get sucked into the contest, then we handball it around to guys who are under just as much pressure as the guy getting rid of the ball.Watching Cerra highlights, his positioning reminds me of Murphy. Prefers to be in a bit of space, classy, good ball user, loves to deliver inside 50. Doesn't mind tackling, but doesn't seem very hard edge.
Don't think he's the answer to all our problems, but would be very happy to have him for polish if we've got Kennedy, Cripps and Hewett providing the grunt.
Get it done with Pick 6 (swap whatever back end picks appease Freo), welcome him in, and let's get going.
The offsider there isn't Cripps, Kennedy, Hewitt; it's Stocker.Watching Cerra highlights, his positioning reminds me of Murphy. Prefers to be in a bit of space, classy, good ball user, loves to deliver inside 50. Doesn't mind tackling, but doesn't seem very hard edge.

or the old one two if they hang outside to shutdown Cerra Stocker can also dispose to advantageThe offsider there isn't Cripps, Kennedy, Hewitt; it's Stocker.
Stocker is more likely to supply the grunt, the blocks, to lay the bonecrushing tackle; Cerra is more likely to receive the ball in space and to dispose to advantage. They complement each other.

It depends on who we get in to coach the midfield, but I've been saying for the last few years that Port's midfield - which Voss coached - was one of the best managed stoppage setups in the comp, with exits being disciplined and well directed; they leave through the sides, looking to get the ball clear to a runner who can then select a target ahead of the ball.Does this mean you're pencilling Cerra in at HBF?
All jokes aside though, I agree that Stocker definitely offers grunt. I hope to see Stock in the middle too, but happy with him in defence if he's happy there
Stocker, Kennedy, Setterfield, Cripps

Cerra will add that extra skill full midfielder we have been crying out for in this team.
Adds a dynamic on ball division of TDK,Walsh,Cerra,Cripps then swapping out with Pittonet,Kennedy,Curnow,Dow,Cuningham,Fisher,Martin,Setterfield which adds some uncertainty for the opposition of how we set up and we can change our set up to suit dominant opposition to stop their drive out of the middle.
Let's hope Vossy can get them to buy in to a team first mentality and everyone plays a role.
And hopefully Hewett too.
