Adam Goodes is ]Sydney Swans! What a legend of the game and a legend of this club! On ya Goodesy! I dont think anyone realises how much this man will be missed until rd 1 next year.

I am devastated, I am happy, I am a true Adam Goodes supporter and I accept that a great (one of the best ever) career has come to an end...Goodesy, you are my f***ing footballing hero! Enjoy retirement and reflect on every moment of your illustrious career!

Shame that he didnt get the send off he deserved

True humility to just wander off and not make it about him

Hope he has gone because he wanted not because of flogs

Still playing at a high level

He is the greatest swan ive seen play and one of the greatest full stop

He played every position he stood up every time we needed him

I think we have to honor him by naming our annual player award after him

I feel so sorry for the bloke. Its disgusting that so many people ruined this legends send off and took his passion away. He deserved a guard of honour and to be chaired off.

Absolute disgrace. In ashamed to follow this sport right now

It's probably for the best that he didn't get the guard of honour. Wouldn't be surprised if he was offered and refused.

Would have been booed too much and that is not the way he should go out.

It's truly pathetic that I had to type that.
