As per one of my previous posts the only 'concerns' I see is people on here making grandiose statements about what will and won't happen with the trades or getting sucked into pissing contests with people like Yoda and appearing red-faced and bitter with Austin if the trade doesn't go they way they wanted.


My own opinion - I think Austin and Dodoro are probably dealing quite civilly and have already agreed a value for Saad around that late first round area (pick 15-20) and are now working on how that is made up depending on other trades (e.g: Is it 8 and the Fantasia 2nd round pick, Is it Carlton splitting).

No pissing contest here mate. I got banned from the Drafts and trading board for simply calling out all the junk that was posted (most of which has come true per my view) from a number of club supporters.

I enjoy a reasonable debate but some were professing things as fact when they have 0 idea about the ins and outs of deals.

What a world this is. Jon Ralph the only one speaking sense.



Says Saad not happy with Essendon and ruling out a return. FINALLY someone points out the irony of their comments about his team play and the subsequent begging for him to return.

Outlines our strategy well too, seems very reasonable and must be almost certainly the options at play.

Pick 8 for Saad and 2021 third round upgrade to 2nd. Also mentions a 2021 first or splitting pick 8 this year.

Supporter and media puppetry aside, Austin clearly seems level headed and fair in trading. We seem to have a plan, Essendon are just throwing everything at the dartboard and seeing what sticks. It may work to an extent, but as Daniher showed, it can end very badly too.
