Duggo would be a great captain. Not sure on Barrass though, as it seemed to affect his game whenever he took the reigns this year.

Two important thing me about choosing a captain is are they good enough to be selected every week and can they change momentum mid quarter.

Duggan will be likely be best 22 for the 2 years but is not screaming absolutely. There is nothing I have seen on field to suggest he is nothing but a nice guy.

That's interesting. I have always enjoyed listening to TB, to me he comes across as a well considered person who thinks a little differently to other footy players and gives honest insights.

TB was a smart cookie at Hale, and had an ATAR score of 98.3. A dumbarse he ain't...

My youngest used to mix in the same circles, and said that Tom was one of the good guys.

Allen has to be the captain IMO.

Nothing more uplifting than seeing your captain take a mark and kick a crucial goal.
