Good listen in it's entirety but interesting little bit on Simmo around the 55min mark, albeit brief.
Haha listening to that bit about Simpson and seeing your avatar getting worked up is a great combo.

Had a chat to my immediate relative who works at 7/The West. The Garlick story is total bull****. Pure clickbait. Even the editor was laughing at what a stretch it was. As much as it would be good if it was true that we had an highly rated and experienced operator on the line to replace Nisbett.

Agree ........ but that paragraph above, reads to my old school understanding ,as him sounding like a *ing space cadet , which aligns with a few interviews, I have heard with him and he sometimes sounds tangental and either off with the fairies or a full on stoner.
I can but make allowances, for some degree of peculiarity, as he is in fact a Hale School Boy.
That he may be, but he does definitely speak with a stoner’s drawl as Monocle pointed out.TB is very, very articulate.
I remember the club talking up his leadership credentials from the moment he was drafted - did he hold leadership positions at U18 level?but may not be a footy leader. You would have to be inside the meh to knknow.
The shin bone is what they put in the tin to make it rattle.Shinboner Spirit is so lame, particularly when all they’ve been doing is asking for help forever
Rubbish! The Shinboner Spirit left the building many years ago. A once proud club resorted to begging and baying for handouts. Very sad. A VFL parasite which’s time will come one day.
Rubbish!
A proud club, will be bouncing back shortly, they’d be struggling to compete with all the handouts given to the QLD and NSW clubs.
They have an outstanding coach in charge with an A grade future.
And one would hardly think being the smallest club in a state of 10, living on the edge with the spectre of a new team entering the competition in Tasmania (meaning the current home game agreement ends and so does the associated revenue from said agreement) isn’t conducive to an ‘A grade future’ but good on you for thinking positive for our friends at North. I’m sure they will appreciate your well wishes
High contact. Three weeks.Quality bump.
Let’s say from here on there are no more excuses - getting Clarko (no doubt with AFL ‘help’) - and with more draft assistance than imaginable. Really, with all that I’d say they could be playing for their existence. (‘Norths’ out of Darwin anyone?)Rubbish!

I was lucky enough to stay at Simmos Dunsborough house last weekend. Was told he is heading to America over the christmas break for around 3 weeks with 3 of his kids whilst his wife and the other kid stay in Perth.
It seems to be a trip similar to alot of other coaches around the AFL where he will go to different sporting organisations over there and get an insight. Can only be a positive thing I believe.
