Guys I recently spoke online with Adam just as a fan! Unlike some footy players he full on responds and interacts amazingly well with the fans! I think he is the perfect fit for our next captain!
He's a superstar
Great leadership skills
Fan interaction,
This legend is the full package!

I agree with Vinnie Vegas. Listen to darcy talk you can see the club is almost his life and love, he bleeds black and white and has great leadership skills. He gets along with everyone and wants what's best for Collingwood F.C and I think he'd be the kind of guy that will be able to direct and get the message across to the other player on the field and off. But this is just my opinion, I believe Treloar has great qualities to be a leader and a potential captain of an important leader of our group. I think this has been proven by him being in Giants leadership group for a number of years, certainly has all the requirements and attributes a great leader contains. I love the kid already!

Pendlebury likely a longer term captain, rightly so.
That said, potentially who could follow?
Rightly said by some Darcy becomes a strong captain candidate, for someone his age he comes across very well. He looks like a leader already.
Matthew Scharenberg comes across as mature, and natural authority.
Then there is Jordan De Goey, another potential leader.
Then there is Adam Treloar, looks the goods.
Tom Langdon old head on young shoulders could even be thereabouts.
Other types
Brodie grundy? Unsure if he is conventional but looks to be long term leader of sorts.
And others.
We forget Sidey, Adams, Crisp, Marsh, Maynard et al.

Main point great to have lots of leaders - the future looks good

The club that bucks is building is leadership driven... Cause good leaders are accountable and they LIFT when they need to. Imagine having a club full of Pendlebury-esque leaders?

Darcy
Adams
Treloar
Langdon
De Goey
Scharenberg
Aish
Grundy
The lost goes on if all the budding young leaders we have. There a multiple on every "line" of the field.

Awesome!

Darcy Moore will take over as captain from Pendlebury. He'll be entering his prime by the time Pendles is done.
My understanding is that as impressive as Darcy is the playing group are equally if not more impressed with degoeys leadership skills , perhaps has a bit more of a common touch and relates to everyone much the same way maxy did. Adams is also very very highly rated internally and brings the playing group together more than any other player on our list.

The more guys who step up to be onfield leaders the better. It's in the tough clutch games that you need guys to stand up and not go into their shells. Hawks excel at this, with finals being an obvious example. The Tigers recently learnt this hard lesson about their 'leaders'.

Vinnie Vegas - I haven't seen this old warhorse post in a while! Good to see!

Back on topic, as Kappa said, it's really irrelevant who has the title, because successful clubs pride themselves on the leadership group, collectively.

Hawks ooze them, and have had a couple different blokes lift the cup in the last 10 years.

From what's visible today, we'll have one of those commanding, brutal leadership groups consisting of all types like Adams, De Goey, Moore, Langdon, even a Crisp could be up there in a leadership group.
