We would send Treloar to the PSD.
If for no other reason than proving a point. Don't be deluded enough to think we won't.
Nah, you're nuts on that one. GWS won't send him to the PSD when at a minimum they'd be getting first and second round picks and more.

What am I your secretary? Look it up yourself.
You're the one that made the claim. Without any evidence you might as well have saved yourself the effort and not bothered making the claim in the first place.

It's not actually.

And the club will do that because when Whitfield is off contract next year and clubs think they can low ball us they will think again.

Why do you think we got $1,000,000 in cap relief and pick 6 last year for Boyd in the Griffen trade?

Because we will not now, and have not in the past been push overs at the trade table.

Ever since our inception and clubs offered Spuds and Duds for our high picks, we told you all to go and get phucked and built from scratch.

If old mate reckons Aish is going to the Pies for their 1st first pick to the Lions what does he think the Giants will take? Their second rounder, and a list clogger?

He's phucking delusional.

And he can't back up or defend himself when challenged on it.

Pathetic.
I've maintained all along that Treloar will likely require this years first rounder, second rounder, and likely a sweetener too. Roughly par with the Beams trade.

That allows GWS to use one of their first picks and their two second picks to obtain their academy players, and maintain a high first round pick in the process. The sweetener is an unknown, whether your club wants a player or a pick is up to them.

You're having a massive meltdown and hurling abuse at me for trying to somehow screw your club over, when I've been one of the more reasonable posters in this thread. I don't believe I've suggested anything unreasonable in terms of trading. The only thing I've said is I don't think the Pies will offer two first round picks.

Seriously. Take a deep breath, calm your shit, and realise that GWS and the Pies:

1) Already have a good trading relationship.

2) Your list managers are professional enough to know that some picks may be off limits because they need to be used for other trades. Just as Brisbane wouldn't trade pick 20 last year in the Beams trade, as it was earmarked for Christensen. If Treloar nominates the Pies, an equitable deal will be worked out for both clubs. You might not like the deal initially. There were many pies fans who felt we were well and truly reamed last year. Now most of us wouldn't take Beams back for what we got. This deal will likely be the same.

Again bud, that's only in the case of Collingwood sending their first to the Lions for Aish and then just accepting that Treloar is a fait accompli and we will be good little beggars and take what scraps the all mighty Pies want to throw our way.

Make your reasonable argument...

If as you suggested Pies send their first to Brisbane for Aish, what do we get for Treloar?

Did you even read my post properly? I never said we were sending this years first to Brisbane. I said there's word going around that the pies will offer their 2016 first rounder.

The post you quoted has the answer to you question in the first paragraph.

No.

I didn't actually. I just saw Aish and first rounder. Sorry mate.

A STANDOFF with GWS is not worrying Collingwood, which expects to add Taylor Adams to its trade bounty within days.

The Pies want to recruit Adams, a former No.13 draft pick, in a straight swap for defender Heath Shaw, but the Giants are pushing for a sweetener in the form of draft picks.

DEPARTMENT OF TRADES

But options for a deal became extremely limited today when Collingwood sent its No.11, No.31 and No.49 selections to West Coast as part of the deal that landed Sydney's Jesse White.

The Pies now have selections six and 10 - which they won't part with - and don't have another pick until 67.

The Giants have picks 1, 2, 21 and 22 and are not expected to use any later picks.

WELCOME TO COLLINGWOOD INK

But Magpies recruiting manager Derek Hine said today he was confident the two clubs could strike a deal before Friday's 2pm deadline even as both talk up the value of the player they are giving away.

"One player is a proven player, a premiership payer, at the peak of his powers. The other boy is a first-round draft choice, a 20-year-old who potentially has plenty of scope (to improve).

"Both parties have really strong opinions on their relevant player and they're both consistent and both on the right track ... I'm really confident we'll be able to get something sorted out in the not-too-distant future," he said on Trade Week radio.

He said the delay in signing off on a deal was mainly due to both clubs focussing on other trades, in particular the Giants' deal with Melbourne over pick 2.

"Myself and Steve (Silvagni, GWS list manager), we're in constant dialogue, the thing is during this period aside from the fact it seems to be going on forever and a day, GWS have a lot of things going on and we do as well.

"Both players have committed to the relevant clubs. Now it's just a matter of both parties coming together and (deciding) what's the best way to facilitate the trade.

"I'm sure a deal will get sorted out.

"They're really good to deal with and I'd like to think we're pretty consistent as well. We'll be fine."

Doubt Any Team would Give That Up
Like many others, I'd compare this to the Beams trade. He went for picks 5 and 25, as well as Crisp.
Say Richmonds 2015 and 2016 first rounders sit around pick 14.
Think 14,14 is comparable to 5,25. Then you add Crisp on top of that (granted he was traded as an unknown quantity). Adding Crisp to the trade probably meant Brisbane paid a little more.
