With those long opportunistic bombs you wonder whether he really would get a high DE. He had some shocking turnovers and he got caught a few times. If he can eradicate those that is good enough. Also I found that quite a number of times he was running but not many ran with him to link up. That went so well in the NAB.

Only the 2nd real game with the club. Once he understands game plan better and more importantly how his teammates move into space etc his DE will improve. As good as he already is his upside is massive.

He also received the footy under pressure several times and was forced to quick get rid of it. This never helps

Couldn't help but notice the booing for Treloar last night, at the start of the game and then not again until the Tigers fans thought they had it won. Oh, what a beautiful night!

Agree - When he Runs quite often no one goes with him so he Has to go Long. I can remeber 2 Shockers which was his 1st Kick and a 2nd one 4th Qtr. I only Remember once he go ran down but that be Lack of Talk I would of thought.

Though there where lot worse users of the Ball then Treloar last night.

His Run and Carry was important and I loved how he took the game on in last Minute to drive it deep and got the Winning goal from it. Could not think a player outside of Treloar that would of done that. They would of Waited to see what Happens

His DE was 62.5%? I don't think it was a surprise though that he had a low-ish DE - we did collectively stink it up as a team for 115-odd minutes after all, but in the end it was one of those really scrappy games where old-fashioned "pump the ball in long" type of footy ended up being the order of the day.

Adams been in the Best the last 2 Weeks alongside Treloar and Greenwood
 
I love Treloars start to his career as a Magpie. I can't help feeling that whilst we gained a super player, we are just almost replacing Swan who's career may have come to a close.
Based on this I don't necessarily think we have gained from a team perspective.
That's not Treloars fault. If he is 2 thirds the player Dane was at his peak then we have done well.

When we Traded for him I thought straight away we see him as Swan's Long Term Replacement

Adams is down on what he is capable of. Don't think he's been in our best last couple of weeks. Showed a lot more in the NAB games. There's a few players who need to take it up a notch since the pre season.

Frost is one who'll need a spell in the VFL. Ramsey redeemed himself, Langdon might be on knife's edge and Oxley did very well. I'd like to see Goldy back, we're a better side with him in the team.
