Fitness guru Burgess has got Rankine fitter than ever.

Expect Rankine this year will still play more forward, but with significant stints on ball.

ROB is around mid pack with regard to tap work.

That's good.
I'd hope a young player would continue to build their fitness year on year.

As an opposition you would be looking to exploit the inevitable unaccountability around the ball.
I guess Laird, Berry etc.. are much more defensive minded and Rankine a good mix with those guys

Don’t think we can legally trade GC’s 2nd back to them

But it’s an easy fix, you just trade that pick up or down a couple of slots

On one side, I'm nervous about these kind of moves just because there isn't a standout SA product and I'd want it to be highly likely whoever we draft to spend their entire career. Another side I'm nervous because this is a really s**t draft for us.

However, we're likely NGA bound next year, we don't exactly need a lot of picks this year and I want to get into a developing ruck which 19 will allow, so I'd do it.
