I, like most supporters want the Tigers to keep winning games but i also understand how important that pick 4 and potential PP will be to our future. For this to happen, we need these two teams to continue winning the odd game, the crows are smashing Melbourne now. I say we get behind these teams.

I reckon West Coast have only got another 2 in them, vs Adelaide at Subi and North at Subi.

We won't catch Adelaide.

It would be good to see one of these clubs get their first spoon.

dont care.

doesn't past experience (using fremantle as an example) show finishing bottom all the time =/= a good future. we need to win games and still get an early pick (top 10) that's good enough imo

If it were any other year I wouldn't mind so much, however, with the new teams coming in the loss is multiplied since we will lose 2 or more places for picks ( eg. coming last gets us 4 and coming second last gets us 6). Not that I am condoning tanking but I would like the teams just above us win some more.

Melbourne is also in the running for pick 4 so dont discount them yet, even though every commentator was talking them up. They are only 1.5 games in front of us and the coasters.

For a team with so many number one draft picks, its amazing.

I agree, I'm not sold on Melbourne at all. Showed some good signs early and have won a few games against teams that have had a shocker on the day just like us. And they are a few years further advanced than us in a rebuild. Bailey could not survive if they finished last surely.

Why? They taught their players how to lose, and it shows. ;)

i acutally agree. too much effort put into losing and they will have no confidence or 'winning culture'
Couldn't agree more, when losing is taught to a young group as it was with Melbourne, it becomes ingrained into their culture. It becomes embedded and can make teams/players forget what it takes to win.

its between us and westcoast, adelaide will win 4 more games atleast. id say we will win 2 or three, and westcoast will be the same.

pick 4 or 6 it will be, i cant see us only winning one more for the season and getting the second round PP.

pick 4 points towards gaff who is getting big wraps, pick 6 is anyones guess as after gaff it seems to be lottery.

It's time to get some games into Post, Gourdis, Roberts, Hicks, Taylor, Grimes, Browne and Rance. Remember you can still go out to win, but when you develop the young guys, sometimes when you lose you win.

I want to win everytime we go out there .

Draft picks arent the be all end all just look at St Kilda who has alot of low draft picks where as on the another side Geelong have recruited very smart picking up guns around the 30s to 40s .

Reminds me of Melbourne and Richmond .

Adelaide just winning on all fronts tonight. First they smash Essendon and in doing so, allow us some more breathing room. Gotta say, i really enjoyed watching them suffer.
