She did. I remember this one well. Put a scare in us.

But not necessarily died from it. Have the coroner findings been released?

Assuming she died of COVID adds to the hysteria around COVID. And an example of a trigger for unnecessary ED visits.

The reality being now many toddlers have had COVID in SA and pulled through fine with routine paracetamol.

I haven't heard the Coroner's findings.

Hopefully the main cause will be something other than covid, not that will be any comfort to the parents...but will be for other parents.

No, a child died in WCH from covid in the last month, so you can't claim there have been no deaths... as yet more fake Slippery facts.

I gather there would also be a small number in other states too
From covid you claim. From. You certain about this? Something tells me you’re not.

Agree. Irrelevant for the actual family of that child.

But...

We found with kids at our Child Care the first lot who got infected parents raced to ED. It was around this time.

Now far more relaxed. This is the messaging that needs to be promoted. A kid getting COVID is far from a death sentence.

I said there had been six registered in 21/22, so obviously you can’t read.

And can you think of a reason why we didn't see many deaths related to COVID in Australia in 2020 and 2021? Anything? Anything at all?

In 2021/22 there has been six. Let’s be charitable and say COVID was definitely a contributing factor to all those deaths, and not just a positive PCR.

Let’s say all cause deaths for children were around the same as 2020, about 1800.

That’s 6 out 1800 childhood deaths in the last year caused by COVID.

So tell me again what the risks are?

Yes of course of course, lockdowns saved so many children‘s lives.

The suicide rates that also skyrocketed among kids were just a figment of everyone’s imagination.

If you’re going to tell me that more children were saved than harmed by the COVID response, you are living outside of reality.

The risks for kids are not zero like you inferred & they still remain high for immunocompromised kids & people of all ages... but I'm arguing wirh someone caught up in their own selfish utopian bubble.

Not just a kid. Anyone.

The reality that these vaccines don't stop transmission is completely ignored by some people and they simply don't care. They'll still carry on as if the unvaccinated will kill people regardless. They have no shame and the science doesn't matter.

Given Australia was averaging under 10 covid deaths per day prior to reopening borders & now just above 50 deaths per day... the number of active cases, along with the variant may have something to do with it.

Imagine the deaths if we didn't have 90% vaccinated, which what some on here wanted...

Sturt

Try again. You said the suicide rate in children had skyrocketed and neither of these articles say that.

Yep... we're now seeing the impact of a "Let it rip" policy, albeit with a population which is 90% vaxxed - and vaccinations which reduce the likelihood of hospital & ICU admittance by 90%.

If we'd "Let it rip" from the start, without vaccination, we'd have seen death tolls 10x higher than what we're seeing now. We would have had 500+ deaths per day on average.

Are people really afraid to leave their house…..

Who are these people?
My wife is immuno-compromised. Every single one of her doctors has told her to be very careful even though triple vaxxed, and she will not go out unless it is necessary.

Maybe time will tell us that the medicos were over-cautious but today she is following unanimous specialist advice.

The number of suicide deaths in Victoria reported by the coroner actually reduced to 559 in 2021, compared to 593 in 2020, 587 in 2019, 570 in 2018.

... but this isnt Slippery facts, these are official coroner cases.

So suicides reduced in Victoria during lockdown.

Youth suicides. Youth attempted suicides. Youth calls to mental health services.
Show me facts where youth suicides increased... you know you can't.

Given overall suicides dropped by 6% & the vast majority are over 25 years of age, i doubt there has been any significant increase if any in youth suicides numbers.

The second one did actually.

Regardless, you and the other arsewipe are quibbling over youth suicides vs attempted youth suicides. Really?

“Oh, they didn’t actually succeed, so that’s okay. Play on, nothing to see here.”

You guys are from the absolute bottom of the barrel. You’ll do anything to protect your precious narrative. No lie or misrepresentation is too great for you reptiles.

No suggesting suicide is more of a problem because of lockdown, when it actually reduced by 6% is being an arse-wipe.
