Also, we are at the beginning of this book with lots of chapter still to write, the current Leval of vaccines and Cures are a start, not an end game.
In time there will be a long term Vaccine along with Cures for Kids developed,
As to Now, we work harder to reach this,
You are focusing on a small part of what I mention forgetting the other part. "we should be attempting to stop it from happening again"
We should not give up the chase, and just give up. we should be expecting our government to continue supporting research, not just for Covid but for every illness, Is that so hard to understand.

You said no child should be exposed to Covid - that is an impossibility unless you virtually lock them away in a room and have not physical contact with them

All the other stuff about being aspirational in finding long term cures etc is all great and we all want that but your exact words were no child should be exposed to Covid. How right now are you going to achieve (other than locking them up) that understanding kids have to school, socialise and in general take part in society. Just answer that or its fine, you mispoke, have double down but can retract the statement if you like and we can move on

We were at around the same number of cases in mid December & within 2 weeks 2000+ cases per day & 4 weeks hit our peak of 5000+ cases per day.

However, we wound back restrictions & were not trying to eliminate but limit the spread.

... but yeah the point is once omicron starts spreading in the community, buckle up.

May actually be a good thing, rather than waiting to July!

There is already too much personal BS on this board & wishing ill of anyone... except the worst type of criminal.. is poor form.
